CNMOC Observes Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. (Dec. 7, 2022) — Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command held a remembrance ceremony to honor the 81st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7.

The ceremony honored the Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, and Airmen who gave their lives that day in defense of the United States, and marked their sacrifice with a bell ringing.

Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command directs and oversees more than 2,500 globally-distributed military and civilian personnel who collect, process and exploit environmental information to assist Fleet and Joint Commanders in all warfare areas to make better decisions faster than the adversary, April 11, 2022.
